Welcome to Year 5 at MBMS

I would like to wish you a warm welcome to the Marden Bridge Year 4-5 Open Event section of our website! We hope that you, your families and friends are safe and well during this difficult time.

Although transition looks different this year, we have worked hard to ensure that you have the opportunity to access the same level and detail of information as our past cohorts.

With this in mind, this special section of the website has been created and curated especially for you in order to reassure you and to introduce you to what school life is like here at Marden Bridge.

Through this section, you will find information pertaining to how the school works and what you can expect from both a pupil and parental perspective.

If I was to sum up our school's ethos, I would describe our school as a caring, stimulating environment where every pupil is supported and challenged to be the best person they can be. We look to praise the pupils at every opportunity to grow and develop their self esteem. When they suffer setbacks, we teach them to respond to this with dignity but look closely and try to 'never make the same mistake twice' .

If you are looking for a school to really feel part of, somewhere that will make you be excited for getting up in the morning and getting to school, somewhere that lets you develop your friendships in a positive environment and ensures that your learning will be the very best it can be, then we may well be the school that you choose!
